WhooshPact aims to be the transition and impact library that never repeats itself.
It is not a nature instrument. Where the rest of the suite models rain, wind, surf or fire, this one makes the sounds a production needs and the world does not supply: the whoosh into a cut, the impact under a title, the boom at the end of a trailer beat, the braam that says something is wrong.
The problem it solves is the one every sample pack has. A whoosh is a whoosh, and by the fourth time in a session the ear has learned it — the same rise, the same peak, the same tail, every time. WhooshPact computes each one as it plays, and a Variation control decides how far every trigger is allowed to differ from the one before it. At zero it repeats exactly, which is what you want when a transition has to land on a cut. Turned up, no two are the same sound, and a sequence of twenty reads as twenty gestures rather than one gesture pasted twenty times.
It features 64 parameters across the gesture’s shape in time, a noise layer through a swept filter, a detuned oscillator stack, a struck sub and a struck transient, a three-band EQ with both ends, stereo placement and a full ADSR. 31 factory presets cover six families — transitions, impacts, booms, braams, downshifters and accents. Native CLAP and VST3 for Linux and Windows.
