SäureKiste is a monophonic acid bass synthesiser, modelled circuit by circuit on a well known little silver box: the squelching ladder filter, the accent that bites, the slides that glide instead of retriggering. Write lines on its piano-roll sequencer with long notes, swing and a bank of sixty-four chainable patterns, perform through them live from your keyboard, or let the pattern generator start one for you. Then push it as far as you like, with the classic hot-rod modification tucked behind the ADVANCED panel, ten drive models from gentle warmth to full fuzz, and a tempo-synced stereo delay.

Features
- Modelled from the circuit of a well known bassline machine, not sampled
- Four-stage transistor ladder filter with the original’s shallow corner
- Accent, slide and envelope behaviour taken from the circuit
- Ten drive models, each built differently rather than merely curved differently, with bias and dry/wet — and each measurably distinct from the others at the same amount of distortion
- Three of them are modelled from stompbox schematics, component by component: a 1970s germanium distortion and both channels of a 1993 dual overdrive
- Delay: free or synced, mono / stereo / ping-pong, width, feedback past unity
- MIDI mode: velocity makes an accent, overlapping notes make a slide
- Sequencer locked to the host transport, sample-accurate, 1 to 128 steps
- Live mode: play the pattern bank from the keys or a pad controller
- Sixty-four pattern slots with chaining, copy/paste and a seeded generator
- Long notes drawn in one gesture, and split again by turning a slide off
- MIDI note output, and drag a pattern into the host as a
.midfile - Preset folders, one-file preset packs, and pattern import from MIDI files or ABL2/ABL3 — one file or a whole folder at a time, loops reduced to one bar
- The classic hot-rod modification too, every control defaulting to stock
- 63 parameters, 30 factory presets
